Job Title of Opening: Interior Designer

Meet with existing and prospective clients to gather requirements necessary to evaluate scope of project.  Prepare of present packages integrating oriental and occidental design standards. Projects are focused on significant domestic and international high-end multi-unit mixed residential and commercial structures. In conjunction with licensed architects participate in preparing presentation packages and defend responses to requests for bids to secure engagements. Design and prepare detailed construction documents, including drawings (e.g. space plans renderings, section, evaluations, and details for interior and exterior features such as stairs, railings, lighting, furnishings and facades) utilizing Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup (used for modeling detailing both the master and site plans) and CAD (software used for architectural design). Prepare detailed construction documents for licensed architects' approval and contractors from which construction will proceed.  Coordinate with consultants (e.g. electrical, civil and structural engineers) in order to integrate engineering plans. 

 

Requires a Master's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Design and one year of experience. Experience in architecture is acceptable, or any suitable combination of education, training or experience thereof.
